One specialization. No spreading thin.
After studying psychology, I first spent many years working in crisis management.
That was followed by four years of training as a systemic therapist and family therapist – one of the most thorough qualifications in this field – along with advanced training in systemic couples and sex therapy under Prof. Dr. Ulrich Clement, whose approach remains the foundation of my work with couples today. This is complemented by the body-oriented method of Sexocorporel and the Zurich Resource Model (ZRM), a scientifically grounded training program for self-regulation. As a guest lecturer, I have taught at LMU Munich, among other places, as part of the continuing medical education programmes of the Bavarian Medical Association (BLÄK).
I’m currently deepening this specialization further through a Master’s program in sexual medicine. Not because something is missing – but because I believe good work is never finished.
Legally, my work constitutes psychological counseling, not psychotherapy.
My Approach to People
No pigeonholing, no diagnoses. You’re not a case here – you’re someone who wants to change something, and can.
This includes what people usually stay silent about: sexuality, closeness, hurt, a breach of trust. That in particular needs a space where you can speak openly – without shame and without having to justify yourself.
What drives me in this work is really quite simple: the subject is still shockingly loaded with shame – and that costs people an enormous amount. Energy, closeness, quality of life. In my practice I see almost every day how much shifts when someone stops talking around the issue and finally calls things by their name. That relief – it’s real. And it’s the first step. Everything else builds on it.
You’ll find me right in the heart of Munich – calm, discreet, deliberately not a sterile clinical setting.
